Heart With Flowers

One technique that I use often is drawing with Micron Pens then adding a slight pop of color. As you can tell by my other pieces of artwork, I enjoy using a monochromatic color scheme. Despite my love for black and white, I occasionally like to add a bit of color to my pieces, such as this one. This is a drawing of a heart with flowers coming out of it. I felt that this was a way to symbolize something beautiful coming together with something dark. I created the drawing with black Micron Pens then added watercolors.
